Exciting changes are coming to the Whitefield Public Library!

After years of planning, preparation, fundraising, and community support, the Library's long-awaited renovation and expansion project is preparing to break ground in August 2026.

The project represents an important investment in the future of the Library and will create additional space for books, programs, activities, and community use while building upon the historic library that has served Whitefield and the surrounding communities for generations.

As construction gets underway, there will be changes to Library operations and services. We appreciate the community's patience and support throughout the process and will work to keep patrons informed as the project progresses.
